Job Summary:

Monorail Limited is seeking a skilled Accountant Manager to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your responsibilities will span preparing and overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting and identifying inefficiencies in accounting processes and recommending improvements., and contributing to strategic planning and operational finance activities.

Role Overview:

• Reconciliations: Gaming revenue, user deposits, withdrawals, PSPs, banks, purchase invoices and other fiat and crypto transactions ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Crypto Financial Management: Handle financial operations and reconciliations involving cryptocurrencies.
• Day-to-Day Finance Management: Oversee daily financial activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly accruals, post month-end closing entries, and assist in producing detailed management accounts with supporting schedules.
• Strategic Planning: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Compliance: Manage tax filings, statutory returns, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Support the finance team with miscellaneous tasks as required.
• Operational Participation: Play an active role in streamlining and improving finance department processes.

Key skills required:

• Prior experience in crypto finance or cryptocurrency operations is a must.
• Proven experience working with Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
• A CPA qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification
• Experience in the online gaming or gambling industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to manage complex financial data and deliver insights.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
